Já várias vezes nos referimos à série como algo que está quase que confirmada. Jamie Brittain já se referiu imensas vezes acerca desta possibilidade e também às mudanças que seriam de esperar, caso exista realmente uma quinta série de Skins.
Ora, o assunto voltou a ser mencionado uma vez mais po Jamie Brittain no qual ele confirma o que já todos sabíamos.
Caso exista uma série 5, haverá uma nova geração de personagens, e por conseguinte novos actores entrarão de novo no nosso dia a dia.
@jamiebrittain To clarify. Skins will hopefully have a fifth series, but we have not yet been re-commissioned. It will have a new cast. We will hold open auditions to cast it. I don't know any details beyond that. We're still working on series 4!
@jamiebrittain Para clarificar. Skins terá, esperemos, uma 5ª série mas ainda não fomos de novo recomendados para a produzir. Vai haver um novo cast. E abriremos novas audições para o encontrar. Não sei mais nada além disto. Ainda estamos a trabalhar na série 4.
Ora isto quer dizer que quem for residente na Inglaterra e tenha jeitinho para a representação pode vir a ser a próxima geração de Skins.
Eu sei é que vamos ter saudades das outras gerações, mas tenho a certeza que Skins não desiludirá os seus fans.
E quanto á 5ª série.... que venha ela...!!!

Several times we refer to the fifth series of Skins as something that is almost confirmed. Jamie Brittain has already mentioned that possibility a lot of times and also the changes to be expected by us if there is, actually, a fifth series of Skins.
This subject was mentioned again by Jamie Brittain in which he confirms what everyone already knew.
If there is another season,it will be with a new generation of characters, and therefore new faces will come again in our day to day.

This means that anyone who is living in England and likes the art of representation can become the next generation of Skins.
I know we are going to miss the other generations, but I'm sure the producers of Skins will not disappoint their fans.
